Changan Qiyuan A05 Review

Unlike the Qiyuan A07, which focuses on smooth and fluid design, the Qiyuan A05 is very angular in design, with a bionic smile design language on the front face.

In terms of dimensions, the length, width and height are 4785 x 1840 x 1460mm, and compared to the competitor BYD Qin PLUS DM-i, the length, width as well as the wheelbase have the upper hand.

The 13.2-inch touchscreen center control screen has a 16:9 aspect ratio vertically, with a screen-to-body ratio of 88%, and has a built-in Xunfei Flying Fish OS 4.0 system with intelligent car search, Bluetooth key, remote assistant, and sentinel mode.

The 1.5L Blue Whale hybrid engine has a maximum power of 81kW and is matched with two drive motors with a maximum power of 140kW (standard range) and 158kW (long range). The long range version has an 18.99kWh battery pack, with a pure electric range of up to 145km under CLTC conditions, a combined range of up to 1,300km, and a 0-100km/h acceleration time of 6.8 seconds.

The 540°high-definition panoramic video and IACC integrated adaptive cruise control ensure that you can have greater peace of mind through tight quarters and on long drives.

For those of you who have charging piles at home, you're pretty much saying goodbye to the gas station if you're just using it for your daily commute. And with the help of the 48L fuel tank, the 1300km combined range also allows you to go long distances without worry. It also offers a 3.3kW external discharge function through the charging port, providing more convenience for outdoor camping.

The emergence of Changan Qiyuan A05 will provide consumers with another cost-effective choice besides Qin PLUS DM-i and Seal DM-i.
